Cleaner sought for Part time work in Barkingside

Local cleaners sought to work in residential homes in Barkingside (and nearby areas) carrying out general cleaning and other house cleaning duties. This is part-time up to a maximum of 16 hours a week, and often done while the homeowner is at work. The range of tasks done by cleaners depends on what the homeowner requires. But they may include any of the following and some more:

• dusting and polishing furniture
• cleaning windows
• vacuuming carpets
• mopping floor tiles
• ironing clothes
• washing up pots and pans

For the role, you need:

• To enjoy carrying out practical tasks.
• To be dependable and hard-working.
• Know-how of using household cleaning equipment and materials.
• The ability to clean without being supervised.
• To pay attention to detail.
• To work as part of a team with other cleaners, if needed. Cleaners may be asked to do a one off blitz clean for a special occasion. For example, washing down paintwork and walls, clean out cupboards and shampoo carpets. All cleaning products and materials shall be supplied by the customer. Payment shall be made on the day of each clean.

Salary: £13.50 - £15
