Cleaner sought for Part time job in Edinburgh

Domestic cleaners sought to work in private homes in Edinburgh (and surrounding areas) undertaking general cleaning and other house cleaning tasks. This is part-time up to around 16 hours a week, and often carried out while the homeowner is at work. The range of tasks done by cleaners depends on what the homeowner requires. But they may include any of the following and maybe more:

• dusting and polishing furniture
• cleaning windows
• vacuuming floors
• mopping floor tiles
• ironing clothes
• washing up pots and pans

For the role, you need:

• To enjoy undertaking practical tasks.
• To be reliable and hard-working.
• Have knowledge of using household cleaning equipment and materials.
• The ability to work without supervision.
• To pay attention to detail.
• To work as part of a team with other cleaners, if needed. Cleaners could be asked to do a one off spring clean for a special occasion. For example, washing down paintwork and walls, clean out cupboards and shampoo carpets. All cleaning products and materials shall be supplied by the customer. Payment shall be made on the day of each clean.

Salary: £14 - £16
