Cleaner needed for Part time work in Pontefract

Local cleaners needed to work in residential households in Pontefract (and surrounding areas) carrying out general cleaning and other domestic duties. This is part-time up to a maximum of 16 hours a week, and often carried out while the homeowner is at work. The range of tasks done by cleaners depends on what the homeowner requires. But they may include any of the following and some more:

• dusting and polishing furniture
• cleaning windows
• vacuuming floors
• mopping floor tiles
• ironing clothes
• washing up pots and pans

For the position, you need:

• To enjoy undertaking practical tasks.
• To be dependable and motivated.
• Know-how of using household cleaning products and materials.
• The ability to clean without being supervised.
• To have excellent cleaning standards.
• To work as part of a team with other cleaners, if required. Cleaners may be asked to do a one off blitz clean for a special occasion. For example, washing down paintwork and walls, clean out cupboards and shampoo carpets. All cleaning products and materials are given by the client. Payment shall be made on the day of each clean.

Salary: £12.50 - £15.50
