How
much will it cost and how do I pay?
The
total cost for a regular weekly clean is £8.50p
per hour and for fortnightly cleans it is £9 per
hour, the cleaner is to be paid £6.50p per hour
and this is to be paid to the cleaner each time
they attend, either cash or cheque, the
remainder of the hourly cost is then paid to
Maid2Clean and this is to be paid monthly by
standing order.
One-off cleans are £7.50p per hour together with
an agency fee of £30, the agency fee is to be
paid in advance and the cleaners fee is to be
paid to the cleaner on the day of the clean.
Why is
the Maid2Clean fee for regular cleans paid
monthly by standing order?
This enables us to keep our
operating costs to an absolute minimum, which in
turn enables us to offer very competitive rates.
Do I meet the
cleaner before they start?
Yes,
once we go ahead an appointment will be made
with you for you to meet the cleaner.
What if I am not
happy with the cleaner?
Just
ring the office and we will offer you another
cleaner.
Do I have to be in
when the clean is carried out?
No,
our cleaners have been carefully vetted and are
happy to hold your house keys. We will provide
you with a key acknowledgement form which the
cleaner will sign.
Can the cleaner be
trusted?
All
our cleaners are interviewed in their own home,
the interview lasts about one and half hours and
their work history and family background is
discussed at length. The cleaner will have
provided at least 2 written references and these
will have been confirmed.
Do you provide the
cleaning materials?
No,
the cleaner will use your cleaning materials. We
find that our customers all have their own
personal preferences and besides it is not very
hygienic to carry cleaning equipment from one
house to another, this keeps our costs down
which in turn reflects in the price.
Are you
insured?
Yes,
we have insurance cover for accidental damage
and public liability. The insurance details are
explained in more detail on our terms and
conditions, which you will be issued with.
What if the cleaner
is absent?
Unfortunately this will sometimes happen, if you
require a replacement cleaner please ring the
office. However as you will appreciate it can
sometimes be very difficult to provide another
cleaner, especially at short notice and for the
same day, but if you require a replacement then
let us know and we will do our best. With
planned absences such as holidays and long term
sickness, we can normally provide cover if
requested and if we cannot then you will given a
refund of our agency fee.
What if I want to
cancel?
There
is no long term contract, all we require is one
months notice.
